About Us

Driven by Love for God and People

For over 34 years, we’ve been dedicated to sharing God’s love and building a strong sense of community in Winnipeg. Established in 1990, our mission is simple yet profound: to love God and love people. This calling inspires us to serve with compassion, build meaningful relationships, and reflect Christ’s love in all that we do.

Located at 235 Eniskillen Avenue, our church is a place where individuals and families can come together to grow in faith, worship God, and find support for life’s journey. While we have one main location, our ministry impacts lives throughout the Winnipeg area, creating connections that extend far beyond our church walls.

We are blessed with a warm and welcoming community that feels like family. From Sunday worship services to ministries for youth, young adults, families, and more, we strive to create a space where everyone can experience God’s presence and grow in their relationship with Him.

We invite you to join us and be part of this vibrant community. Whether you’re seeking spiritual growth, meaningful connections, or simply a place to belong, we’re here to walk with you on your faith journey.

Mission

Living the Great Commission

At Church of The Living Hope, our mission is to glorify God by making disciples who make disciples. Guided by Matthew 28:18-20, we are dedicated to winning the lost, building believers, equipping workers, and sending multipliers to share Christ's love and truth. Through this, we aim to expand His Kingdom and fulfill His purpose.

Vision

A Future in Christ

Our vision is to be a church transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ, radiating His light to transform Winnipeg, Canada, and the world. With all our hearts, we long to see lives renewed, communities restored, and nations reached as we walk in faith and obedience to His calling.

Our Building's Journey

B’nay Abraham Synagogue started in 1903 in a building on old street called, Schultz Street in Winnipeg’s West Kildonan neighborhood. Over time many members of Winnipeg’s Jewish community moved into newer post-war suburbs, including in the North end neighborhood, where the B’nai Abraham congregation built this synagogue in 1958.

In 1970, the synagogue was expanded and renovated. Three years later came a formal merger with the Ateres Israel Synagogue.

The building was then sold to and occupied by the Church of the Living Hope in 2003.
